China Taiping Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd. (“CTPIS”) believes in building a green and sustainable living for all and strives to support projects in clean energy and environmental protection to achieve carbon neutrality.
As part of its efforts in encouraging the reduction of carbon footprint, CTPIS offers electric vehicle charger coverage for its Commercial Property and Public Liability insurance. The company also provides motor insurance coverage for electric vehicles, supporting the phased out of all internal combustion engine vehicles by 2030.
CTPIS actively supports the green initiatives with construction insurance coverage amounting S$1.5 billion to a series of HDB projects which required the use of energy-saving, environmentally friendly and recycled building materials. It has underwritten in projects for wind power and solar energy generation equipment, as well as projects in the environmental conservation with sewage treatment and waste incineration.
