Singapore, 24 May 2018 - To commemorate its 80th anniversary in Singapore, China Taiping Insurance (Singapore) Pte. Ltd will be launching a fund raising drive which will involve all staff selling fortune cookies and our elephant mascot soft toy at China Town Point Outdoor Plaza on May 26 and 27, 2018. Mr. Wang Bin, who is the Chairman of China Taiping Insurance Group, will be in Singapore to officiate the event.
China Taiping Singapore have specially made these fortune cookies to be sold at S$15 per box of 8 pieces and elephant mascot at $8. All proceeds collected from the sales will go to the Straits Times School Pocket Money Fund. The fund raising campaign will continue until mid-August 2018, during which its staff and distribution partners will approach their families and friends as well. Members of the public who wish to buy these fortune cookies, may visit China Taiping Singapore located at 3 Anson Road, #16-00 Springleaf Tower, Singapore 079909 during weekdays between 9:00 am and 5:00 pm.
In addition to the sales of fortune cookies initiative, China Taiping Singapore will encourage their staff to make cash donation by matching dollar for dollar.
