Job Responsibility:
Underwriting & Portfolio Management
- Achieve set KPIs and complete major tasks assigned by the department HOD and Manager/Section Head.
- Handle underwriting matters for assigned agents, brokers, and intermediaries, including referral quotations, endorsements, renewals, and system-related requests.
- Review and manage motor fleet quotations, renewals, and policy issuance.
- Check and validate quotations issued by intermediaries, including NCD and claims verification.
- Process all business transactions from intermediaries under charge, such as:
- Review of renewal policies
- Processing of cancellation endorsements
- Issuance and release of policies across all payment channels
- Following up on outstanding premiums
- Monitoring submission of required documentation
- Conducting audit checks on submitted business
Intermediary & Client Management
- Liaise with intermediaries to communicate company products, policies, campaigns, and operational updates.
- Monitor intermediaries’ performance, including credit status, and take follow‑up actions where necessary.
- Attend to clients’ enquiries, feedback, and complaints in a professional and timely manner.
- Provide counter and hotline support during lunch hours or as scheduled.
General & Administrative Duties
- Support process improvements and provide recommendations to enhance underwriting efficiency.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the Company or the Head of Department (HOD).
Requirements:
- Diploma or Degree holder.
- Possess BCP, PGI, ComGI, and HI certifications.
- Minimum 3 years of relevant experience in underwriting or Personal Lines insurance.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Positive, proactive, and service‑oriented attitude.
- Ability to work in a fast‑paced, sales‑oriented, and dynamic environment.
- Strong attention to detail with good analytical and problem‑solving abilities.
