The candidate will be responsible for the assigned activities in relation to the Company’s Anti-money laundering and Countering of Financing of Terrorism (“AML/CFT”), FATCA & CRS, and Economic Sanctions.
Job Responsibility
- Ensure the various frameworks in relation to the above-mentioned compliance topics are implemented effectively in the Company.
- Perform AML/CFT tasks including but not limited to Enterprise-wide Risk Assessment, enhanced due diligence on escalated cases, name screening review, transaction monitoring, training, sampling checks on transactions to assess the compliance with established requirements.
- Perform Economic Sanctions clearance checks and reviews on scoped transactions.
- Perform FATCA and CRS tasks including but not limited to sampling checks on transactions to assess the compliance with established requirements, and reporting to relevant tax authority.
- Report the relevant above mentioned compliance topics’ updates, and risk assessment outcome to Culture and Conduct Committee and/or Board Audit Risk Committee.
- Provide training on the above-mentioned topics to relevant departments and staff.
- Maintain the AML/CFT systems covering name screening, and transactions monitoring.
Requirements:
- Possess a Bachelor’s Degree in Accounting, Business, Law or other related discipline
- At least 5 years of AML/CFT, FATCA & CRS, and Economic Sanctions experience in the financial related industry
- Good working knowledge of regulations in relation to AML/CFT, FATCA & CRS, and Economic Sanctions applicable to insurance companies
- Good working experience dealing with AML/CFT systems
- Good interpersonal and communication skills
- Proactive and positive attitude
- Have good organization skill and have a keen eye on details
- Able to embrace work challenge and work under pressure
