Grand opening of Taiping Premier Lounge
(太平全球汇客厅)
We celebrated a momentous occasion on October 27th - the grand opening of Taiping Premier Lounge (太平全球汇客厅) on Level 34 of Springleaf Tower! This marks the debut of the first Premier Lounge outside of China, and it's the perfect finale to our 85th-anniversary celebration in Singapore.
We are thrilled to have Minister of State for Trade and Industry Ms. Low Yen Ling, and Mr. Kang Yi Ming, Economic & Commercial Minister Counsellor, Embassy of the People’s Republic of China, as our distinguished Guests-of-Honor to grace the grand opening.
Joining us are Mr. Zhou Liqun, Chairman of the Board of Supervisors, China Taiping Group and guests of prominent business leaders, trade associations, and our invaluable distribution partners.

Coastal Clean Up 2023
Together with China Enterprise Association, China Taiping SG organised a coastal cleanup event at East Coast Park. It was an early morning of hard work with more than 120 participants from our business partners joining us in this meaningful event. All participants went all the way out to collect all the trashes. Collectively, we were proud to have collected close to 400kg of trash! This was a wonderful activity to engage everyone to support a sustainable green living.

A Momentous Year, A Time For Celebration
On 1st August, 2023, with smiles on our faces and hearts filled with gratitude, we came together for a simple yet meaningful ceremony in our office to mark this memorable milestone. Our Chief Executive, Mr. Zhang Zhongyi, expressed his gratitude to the past generations of dedicated employees who have contributed to the growth of China Taiping Singapore over the past decades. Two retired long service employees, together with our senior management team, had the honour to undertake the cake cutting.

Unveil of Cultural Walls

The unveiling of cultural walls marks the first of a series of our 85th anniversary initiatives. We showcase various key milestones from building our foundation in 1938, business development and expansion through the years, to become the first Chinese State Owned Enterprise offering both life and general insurance in Singapore.
