Job Responsibility:
- Supervise and manage team as assigned
- To lead and guide a team and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and producers, ensuring effective risk management for the company
- Underwrites risks within authorised limits
- Responsible to assess, approve or decline risks brought in by the Direct Marketing / Intermediaries. This includes the application of appropriate premium, ratings, terms, conditions deemed necessary.
- Survey risks and/or visits intermediaries and direct clients.
- Maintain good relationship with existing clients as well as to build up new business network
- Report monthly performance to the business to HOD
- Attend customer’s enquiries
- Dissolve complaints raised by intermediaries and direct clients
- Review the work flow procedures regularly and proposes ideas to improve the efficiency and productivity
- Any other project / work assigned by the company
Requirements:
- Min Diploma holder and above
- CGI, HI certification
- Minimum 8 years experience in underwriting & marketing of commercial lines products
- Customer centric and a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- Strong leadership qualities with an analytical mind, good problem solving and decision making skills.
- Experienced in leading a team in complex technical areas and possess the right skill set in developing talents.
- Highly adaptable and resilient in a fast-paced challenging environment.
