Job Description:
· Reports to the Head of Department.
· To lead and guide the underwriting team under your leadership and take responsibility for a portfolio of clients and producers, ensuring effective risk management for the company.
· Responsible for building rapport with producers to solicit business opportunities to grow the Personal Lines portfolio.
· Responsible for growing profitable business segments, providing new business quotation, review renewals and refer to the HOD for discussion and approval when necessary.
· Assist the HOD in overseeing the department to ensure its smooth and effective business operations.
· Delegate duties to subordinates and ensuring their best delivery of outcome.
· Liaise and manage intermediaries in communication of company’s products, policies and monitor their performance and credit status etc.
· Attend to clients’ enquiries, feedback and complaints.
· Assist HOD in preparing and submission of weekly and monthly performance reports.
· Any other duties assigned by the Company / HOD
Requirements:
· Degree or Diploma with more than 10 years’ working experience in financial sector
· CGI, HI certification
· Minimum 8 years’ relevant experience in Personal Lines Insurance
· Good communication skills
· Ability to lead a team
