Job Description:

  • Ensure new business applications (ie. retail, high networth and Group Term Life) are processed accurately and efficiently within the stipulated service standards and adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements.
  • Provide guidance to team members by sharing knowledge on operational aspect and motivate the team members to work together as one.
  • Ensure timely follow up on outstanding requirements and accuracy in policy contract issuance.
  • Actively monitor the new business submission volume to ensure that there is no backlog.
  • Maintain and update Operations Manual (retail, high networth and Group Term Life) to ensure proper documentation of new business processes.
  • Manage enquiries / complaints and perform service recovery when necessary.
  • Identify inefficient process and escalate to Head of New Business Operations for assessment and improvement.
  • Support new product launches in areas such as UAT, new business processing and training for team members in new business processing.
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, intermediaries and distribution channels.
  • Any other tasks assigned by the company


  • Minimum a Degree/ Diploma in any discipline and having insurance qualifications/ certifications (ie. LOMA (FLMI), M5, M9 and Health Insurance) will be an added advantage
  • Minimum 5 years of relevant experience in life insurance operations (at least 1 year in supervisory role is preferred)
  • Possess insurance knowledge including life insurance products, basic underwriting concepts, business and regulatory practices
  • Strong leadership skills and possess an analytical mind with good problem-solving skills
  • Customer centric and a good team player with excellent interpersonal and communication skills
  • Proficient in MS Office
