(Life Insurance Operations Dept)

Functional Role

  • To support the department’s daily operations in customer service delivery and policy service processing and to contribute to the achievement of the department performance objectives and business plan
  • Provide support in the execution of insurance service and marketing strategies to foster business line growth and customer relations

Job Responsibilities

  • Ensure policy service transactions are processed accurately and efficiently within the stipulated service standards and adhere to company guidelines and regulatory requirements
  • Provide timely follow up and processing of new business applications
  • Manage call in, walk in and email enquiries and ensure excellent service delivery
  • Perform complaint resolution and service recovery when necessary
  • Identify inefficient process and escalate to Head of Customer Service for assessment and improvement
  • Develop and maintain excellent relationships with internal stakeholders, intermediaries and distribution channels
  • Any other project/work assigned

Qualifications/Skills Required

  • GCE ‘A’ Level/Diploma holder, having insurance certifications/qualifications (M5. M9, LOMA will be an advantage)
  • Minimum 2 to 3 years of relevant experience in life insurance industry
  • Great initiative, drive and ability to work well independently and effectively in a team
  • Highly adaptable and resilient in a fast paced challenging environment
  • Pleasant disposition, highly responsible with positive attitude and must enjoy working with people
  • Proficient in MS Office
